How do I update my email preferences?
Sign into your account and visit the account page on the top left of your screen. Scroll down and check or uncheck the boxes corresponding to the emails you wish to receive or stop receiving. Click the red button titled ‘Save Profile Changes.’
How am I billed for my subscription?
You will be automatically billed at the end of each billing cycle, either monthly or annually depending on the plan that you purchased.
What is the cancellation policy?
You can cancel your paid subscription at any time. When you cancel, we will stop charging your account the following billing cycle. Each billing cycle is 30 days, so your access will continue for the remainder of the current 30-day period.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Please cancel your subscription through your user dashboard. If you originally purchased your subscription via PayPal, please cancel your subscription on your PayPal account. Alternatively, you can email support@thetexan.news to cancel your subscription. Upon receipt, our team will cancel your subscription and end your automated billing. After canceling, you will still be able to access your account until the end of the billing period.
How do I update my billing information?
You can update your billing information on your user dashboard.
How do I see when my subscription will renew?
The expiration date listed on your user dashboard (under the tab "Subscriptions" -> "Manage subscriptions") is when your subscription will renew unless you cancel your subscription.
Why does my account show the incorrect payment history?
If you purchased a subscription before we migrated to our new site on August 16, 2023, your account will only show subscription payments that have renewed under our new system. Subscriptions listed with a start date on Sept. 1, 2023 reflect when your subscription was migrated to our new payment system and do not reflect when your account was charged. To see your full payment history prior to our new subscription system, please access the portal for our payment processor using the email address you used to subscribe here. To see when your subscription will renew, please refer to the expiration date listed on your user dashboard under the tab "Subscriptions" -> "Manage subscriptions."
